Valshar Aran Force Sensitive Joined: 01 Apr 2011 Posts: 35 Location: Lawton, OK Hey all, I know I'm not real active on here, but I got an email today from the coordinator of the Special Olympics asking if we would be able to return this year. Below is the email I received. Hit me up if you want to go or need some more details. I will be there! Sir, I have coordinated the Special Olympics here at Fort Sill for the last two years. This year it again my honor to do so. Since Corporal Becker is no longer assigned, I am trying to coordinate for the OKC Jedi’s to be a part of the Special Olympics again this year. Prior to receiving your information, I sent an email via your website to Len. I don’t want to confuse anyone there, but I know having someone in your organization to coordinate with worked well last year. It would be wonderful if your group would support this great cause again with an appearance this year. The Lawton-Fort Sill Track and Field event is scheduled for Friday, March 30th. It will be held on Prichard Field again this year. The Opening Ceremony begins at approximately 830am and the games are usually completed between 3 and 4 pm. I have been in contact with the Special Olympics Area Director as well as the Athletics Director and both expressed their hopes that your organization would be a part of the event again this year.
