Make-A-Wish - Tulsa, OK - TBA

I've got a night job and, well the hours kinda suck for any trooping, let's just put it that way. At any rate. I've finally gotten an update on a make-a-wish event that was initially targeted for July. This is a Make-A-Wish event in Tulsa. They've invited the 501st, and given us the go to open the sucker up to everyone else too. They want to present this kid with an artoo unit at a TU basketball or football game in October. We're still working on specifics. Talking over presentation ideas with them, the plan would be to welcome him as the 501st/villains, then have Jedi come in and we'd "fight" with them, then this rather large (5 ft.) artoo unit will come in and chase us away, and the Rebels will finish the presentation. The artoo is designed for him to fit inside and control. The idea for this presentation is along the lines of a little guy making a big impact. We don't have specifics right now, other than that we're shooting for October and it's in Tulsa. TR8285 Jedi Padawan Joined: 05 Oct 2009 Posts: 176 Location: Norman, OK Apologies, this event has been postponed, rescheduled and then postponed again. That I am aware, the child involved is doing well, they are having production issues with the droid is why it keeps getting delayed, and they've reformatted what they're doing a couple different ways. Right now, this project is considered cancelled until further notice.
