I remember hearing about this some time back. It just...comes off as pretty stupid to me. But that's just me.

After all, I think Return of the Jedi's the best of the three originals, so right there I'm already not a good enough Star Wars fan. Cool

I agree with the sentiment that the people who say Lucas xxxxed their childhoods are absurd. For one - if you don't like the prequels you can just ignore them. They, at the end of the day, have no impact on the OT if you don't let them.

I love The Godfather I and II... but I despise and loathe Godfather III. So I don't watch it. I don't happen to like TPM or ATOC all that much - so I don't watch them. I do enjoy ROTS and watch it about once a month. And as much as I hate Jar Jar (sorry JJ fans)... he can't bother me if I don't watch him.

I do think some people have some valid complaints about GL and the choices he's made. But the people that think he somehow wronged them or harmed them... very silly.

Fanboys is a must see, go buy it now (I think it is $10 now)
you can always give it to someone else that is a SW fan

I liked the Ewoks as a kid too.
sorry, but you can't go wrong with ROTJ (IMHO)
you have Jabba, Slave Leia, Space battle, Endor battle, Lightsaber duel, and the climax to the original trilogy ...

I guess other than Boba Fett getting it, that's all I can disagree with right off.

hmm, maybe my kids need to get out the Ewok Village ...
