Welcome!

• Please welcome new club member DoomBuggy! He may be able to hook us up with club pins with the new Obi-Wan/Aayla club logo!
• I arrived a little late this time, so not only are the minutes LATE this month, but they also pick up with the meeting already in progress.

Episode III

• Just over 3 months away!
• It was decided that Harkin's Downtown Theatre is where the club will "officially" catch the first viewing.
  • We are in talks with Harkin's management to make costume appearances at the Robots premiere (for the new trailer) and for the release of Episode III!

Club Event Report

• Congratulations to Jeremy and his family for bringing another little Padawan into the world!
• The new crew from Norman (Aaron, Wes and Mark N.) filmed some fan interviews throughout the meeting.
• OKC Philharmonic Spotlights John Williams - Mar. 20th
  • 10 a.m. is the casual (no costume) rehearsal for the Philharmonic and for what's expected of us.
  • 1 p.m. is the Pre-Show where our costumed people will be ooo-ed and ahh-ed, and the costume "spotters" will be jeered for not being "dedicated enough" to have their own costumes.
  • 2 p.m. is the concert
  • It's still not known at this time if there will be a post-show opportunity for us, or if there will be a Spencer's Charity opportunity or photo opportunity.

Celebration III

• Just over 2 months away!
• Rick W. will post the room arrangement information (who's bunking with who and how much per person).
• Carpool caravan arrangements will be gearing up shortly.

Collector Showcase (Customs, Finds and New Stuff)

• Newly released
  • Star Wars: Labyrinth of Evil novel (events leading right up to the beginning of Episode III)
  • More new figures than you can shake a stick at (and that I'm willing to type in)
  • Electronic Lightsabers now packaged with a DVD
• Coming Soon
  • Revell Star Wars Models
  • Celebration III toppers
    • Vader with Fan Club pass
    • General Grievous, Royal Guard and Ep. III Clonetrooper helmet round out the rest.

Other Club Stuff

• Next Club T-shirt
  • Brian reported that the new t-shirt, with some streamlining is good to go! Thanks go to Steve Sansweet of Star Wars fame for "showing us the way."
  • Due to licensing issues, the t-shirts will be sold close to the cost of producing the shirt.
  • Pre-orders to be taken ASAP!
