No offence I love Star Wars but I can wait in lines for 12 hours right here at the DMV

I'm going home anyway so I really don't know if I can go let alone want to.

As I feared. My being able to go will depend on time and money. Oh, well, at least I can see LA again. I have not been there since 1985.

ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!! Man May 24-28!!! 5 whole days!! That should be awesome. I read in there were they said the first day will be for the StarWars fan club members. i wonder how that will work? Only us members would be allowed in? Anyway I can't wait!!! Plus I have never been to LA before.

Now the only question....since it is such a far far drive. Do you drive or fly?

I'm also for driving mostly because Ive never been further west then......well about exit 108 of I-40

But I'm just not excited about this, strange I know but let me explain:

a) Theres nothing new Star Wars wise thats.....well new.
Celebration 3 was Episode 3 hype so it was all new. I know we have the live action TV show but.....well...........its not the sane
b) I am going home next year and the two clash WAY too close.
c) Unless there are some big names signing (Jackson, McGregor etc) then its not really anything new.
d) flying to the UK, LA and possibly Atlanta all in one year, not exactly cheap.

I know I sound like a downer and I'm sorry, just missing home and making excuses. If we drive its also missing work for me which I hate to do but it would share the cost and I'd more likely be able to go doing that.
Its early so things may change...........but I know whether or not the convention is C3 all over again...........it will still be a lot of fun for us.

Who knows what I'll be doing next summer...but that will be after finals, so at the moment I'm planning to go. Big Grin

I would want to see the Buffy locations and I'd like to go to Disneyland too.
