Jacen Wearing His Armor, the last Armor Day, Finishing My Helmet and
Last Minute Stuff - August 13th, 2008

When I got home today, I finished his hands (I finally found some kids jersey gloves), his belt,

and his shoulder bells. I velroed them for easy removal.

I also tricked out his shoes with orange straps.

As soon as he got home, he took off his clothes (seen in the kitchen floor) and proceeded to put on his Cody costume. He loves it and it makes me happy to see how much he loves it.

Striking a pose.

Mini-Cody

He wanted to show the guys in the garage and then we walked down the street to show his friend Cooper. When we got back and took it off, he laid it all out in the floor just like Daddy and his friends do.

Assorted assembly photos.

Len's nearly completed armor.

My finished armor.

My finished helmet. I'm still debating on whether to do weathering or not before tomorrow. I don't want to rush it, but at the same time, it just doesn't look right.

So...what's next. First I'm going to take a few weeks away from armor. I'm worn out. Plus, I haven't mowed my lawn in like 3 weeks. Then, we're already disussing the next clone project. We've had requests for Fem Clones, so we may work on that and I'm also wanting to do a Neyo face attachment for this helmet. One that will fit over this one with magnets. Who knows what other things we might do.

I'm going to the midnight showing tonight and our big JediOKC event is tomorrow and Saturday. It's going to be a busy weekend. I'll post photos of the event here and especially the group photo of all of us clones hanging out. Till next time!
