I sprayed the black paint on today. Though first I add some toothpaste to various locations on the helmet to create scuffs and scratches on the helmet. Once the whole thing is painted, it will look weathered and battle worn. I will also spray a dull coat to make it not so shiny.

I also worked on the annunciator. In the right picture below, you can see a resin cast version of this piece (on loan from Phillip for reference) to the left of my custom version. I used styrene, small hex bolts and a trimmed and cut dowel rod. Looks pretty good if I say so myself.

Tonight, I plan on painting the details on the top part of the helmet and priming the main parts of the helmet to prepare for the metallic spray.
